‘Reign’ Bestows Jonathan Keltz With Series Regular Role for Season 2

Hear ye, hear ye! ‘Reign’ fans, get ready for some royal-tastic news.

Jonathan Keltz, or better known as Leith, has just been upped to a series regular for Season 2. Throughout the freshman season, he recurred as the kitchen love interest to lady-in-waiting Greer (Celina Sinden).

As shown in Season 1, Leith started out as a baker, but he quickly climbed his way up the social ladder by helping Francis on the battlefield, which gained him a title and his very own piece of land. Sadly, trouble still looms for Leith and Greer. Not only is she promised to Lord Castleroy, but Leith just might have his eyes on a new lady -- Lord Castleroy’s daughter.

The second season of the period drama is sure to bring even more heartache for fans of this romantic duo.

‘Reign’ returns this fall to The CW where it will continue to air in the 9 p.m. time slot, following ‘The Vampire Diaries.’
