Sesame Street's Maria is set to leave the show after more than 40 years
Sonia Manzano has announced that she is leaving the popular children's show, Sesame Street, after nearly 45 years of playing Maria. During her time on the show, she has won 15 Emmys for her writing contributions, and has received two acting nominations as well.
