Did you watch the American Horror Story penultimate episode "Birth," or were you more interested in the second-to-last episode of Survivor: South Pacific?  Was your pulse racing through Criminal Minds, or were you looking for something in the lighter range like Suburgatory?  Maybe you were glued to the Most Fascinating People!

We’ll tell you what America was watching, and the big winner from last night’s ratings might surprise you!

At 8 o'clock, FOX's The X Factor nabbed the 18-49 demographic with 10.3 million vieweres, but couldn't match up to the penultimate episode of Survivor: South Pacific at 10.7.  ABC's reruns of The Middle and Suburgatory took in 6.2 and 5.2 millions, while NBC's reruns of Up All Night and Whitney enjoyed 3.7 and 3.3 million.  An America's Next Top Model rerun brought in 1.3 million viewers for The CW.

At 9pm, CBS' Criminal Minds proved the big winner for the night with 12.7 million viewers, but close behind was a rising (and 18-49 winning) X Factor with 11.4 million, followed by a sharp turn-off for FOX's I Hate My Teenage Daughter at 5.25 million.

ABC's Modern Family rerun took in 6.6 million, while Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011 brough in a cool 8.1 million.  Conversely, The CW's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show rerun brought in only 1.6 million.

At 10 CBS stayed strong with CSI's demographic win at 12.1 million, while ABC's Barbara Walters Special rose to 8.4, and NBC's Law & Order: SVU rerun brought in only 4.4 million.
