‘Hotel Hell,’ ‘Grimm’ top ratings on slow Labor Day

Many TV viewers were presumably too busy soaking up the last drops of summer to take in the networks’ offerings Monday.

Fox won the night with back-to-back episodes of “Hotel Hell,” which had 1.8 and 1.7 ratings among adults 18-49, respectively. Fox averaged a 1.7 adults rating, with 4.4 million viewers for the night.

Univision had 1.4 adults for the night, and CBS reruns had the night’s biggest audience with 4.6 million viewers, and a 1.3 rating in the adult demographic.

ABC’s two-hour “Bachelor Pad” went up a tenth of a point, with a 1.4 in adults 18-49 before an encore of “Castle” that scored a 0.6 adults rating. “Pad” had its highest rating since its season premiere, and help give ABC a 1.1 adults rating and 4.1 million viewers.

NBC averaged 1.1 rating in the demo with the “Stars Earn Stripes” season finale, which was down a tenth of a point, giving it a 0.9 adults rating). A new “Grimm” episode was down two tenths of a point for a 1.4 adults rating, and NBC averaged 3.4 million viewers for the night.

CW got a 0.3 rating in 18-49 year olds with “The L.A. Complex”.

Things are likely to heat up as the Democratic National Convention begins Tuesday.

Correct you are rtruell. I went ahead and fixed everything on Ted's behalf. But hey, cut the guy a little slack. He's only been writing here a month, and this is his first major error that I can recall. Everybody makes a mistake at some point. As I know full well from my earlier days as a reporter here.

LOL!  Oh, but for a little proof-reading!  The headline reads "Hotel Hell", but the 1st sentence under the picture says Fox aired back-to-back eps of "Hell's Kitchen".  The headline has it right, as Fox actually aired back-to-back eps of "Hotel Hell" last night, to finish off the season.  Which, of course, means the wrong picture was used as well!
