'JFK: The Smoking Gun' heading to Reelzchannel

JFKThe assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy will be coming to television screens in November of this year when ReelzChannel airs Canadian-Australian documentary JFK: The Smoking Gun. The film will air in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's assassination.

The film is being produced in partnership with Canadian company Muse Entertainment and their Australian counterpart Cordell/Jigsaw/Zapruder.

Production is taking place in Dallas (where the assassination occurred) and in Montreal.

The two-hour film will look at the work done by Colin McLaren, a veteran police detective, who spent four years looking into the cold case investigation of the killing. It will look at what he has found out - McLaren claims to have fund the "smoking gun," so to speak, that cracks the case open.

The documentary is being written by Steve Lucas and directed by Malcolm McDonald. Jesse Prupas and Michael Cordell are producing, while the executive producers are Michael Prupas and Simon Egan.

JFK: The Smoking Gun is scheduled to air on Discovery Canada and SBS in Australia in November, as well.

There are a lot of different theories about what "really" happened to JFK. I find them interesting to listen, but highly doubt that this will be definitive. What do you think? Worth a watch?
