"NYPD Blue" Summary

NYPD Blue ran from 1993-2005 for 12 seasons. This show, described by its creator as "an R-rated cop show", was famous for showing nudity on television and cursing. Dennis Franz was the main character, winning four Emmys for best actor during his 12 year run on the show. This show was produced by Steve Brancho, producer of "Hill Street Blues" and the FX drama "Over There."
