Three's Company (Change Layout)

"Three's Company" Summary

Welcome to the Three's Company page on TVRage.com!

This is the place where the kisses are hers and hers and his! For eight great years, Three's Company hit the airwaves on the ABC network each week, bringing laughter to the homes of many. Tame for today's standards, but risque for its time, Three's Company was groundbreaking with it's sexual innuendos and the like. Famous for its comical misunderstandings, ill-timed actions, overreactions, inside jokes and one-liners, Three's Company reached out to all audiences, and is still popular today in sydnication runs.

Three's Company was an Americanized version of the hit Britcom Man About the House.

Three's Company Nielson Review
Here's the listings of how the show did in it's first-run, with the yearly Nielson reports
Season 1(1977)-#11
Season 2 (1977-1978)-#3
Season 3 (1978-1979)-#1
Season 4 (1979-1980)-#2
Season 5 (1980-1981)-#8
Season 6 (1981-1982)-#4
Season 7 (1982-1983)-#6
Season 8 (1983-1984)-#31

NOTE: Season 1 and Season 8 are the only two shows in the entire run not to hit a top 10 spot. Season 8 is the only season not to make the top 30. Since most shows generally decline from the top 10 after year five, this is an outstanding record!
