A New Kind of Late-NightRating: 4 likes, 2 dislikes
Is it reinventing the format? Is it the new kind of late-night talk show? Is the wait finally over?! No, no, and yes. Conan "Coco" O'Brien is back on the air, after long 9 months of absence (during which he went viral on Twitter and Youtube, and entertained fans across North America while on tour).

Conan may not reinvent the entire format, but then again, nobody expected it to. What Conan does, though, is bring the breath of fresh air that is called Conan O'Brien. With sketches and characters that include bizarre images such as a Masturbating Bear or looking into the future, all the way to the Year 2000, Conan reminds us why we all fell in love with him in 1993.

He follows the same format as before: monologue (or, the "Conologue"), a few sketches, one or two guests, and a closing musical/comedy act. But within all that, we are exposed to a talented writer and host, who truly loves his audience, and knows that the audience loves him. He respects his guests, making them feel at ease and eager to come back. He takes what Johnny Carson started, and keeps it going, in his own way.

Are you looking for some good, old-fashion late-night talk show? Tune in to CBS, and watch Dave. Whatever you do, though, do NOT watch Leno. It's not healthy for you.

But rather, tune in to TBS, where every night at 11, you will see a 6'4 Irish giant having fun on television. And I promise you -- you'll have fun too.
