Sealab 2021 is an update on the 1972 Alex Toth series Sealab 2020. This show uses actual footage from the 1970 cartoon and manipulates it into something entirely new. The original had a serious message while this updated version is all about humor. The story goes that it's been a year since Sealab 2020 and the whole crew has gone insane, especially Captain Murphy, who has been left in charge. Usually at the conclusion of each episode the crew screws something up and Sealab explodes.
