* best intro music
* best character depth
* best research -- but piss poor accuracy -- best isn't saying much among contenders

There have been many iterations of teen wolf series.

MTV is adept at audience pandering

First I have to say I'm also disappointed in the lack of re-runs with Hulu or Amazon Prime. It may have to do with the Contract that Amazon and MTV did recently.

There are so few shows with real werewolves anymore thanks to the Twilight franchise. I get it Dogs are cheaper then quality special effects. Well this show doesn't have that problem thank goodness.

I also despise the love triangle/or girls that seem "torn" between two guys. Again we are spared from that, with a decent romeo/juliet theme that doesn't overwhelm the show. We have two great friends between Scott/Stiles and also like the friendship between Alyson and Lydia. Derek struggling to at least be a decent pack master also makes the show very human.

It can have a bit of contrivity but it's really compelling and excellant to watch. At the end of almost every episode I'm screaming at my tv demanding to know how the show could end on that note and over analyzing the previews for the following week.

Tired of over drama'ed crap like the vampire diaries, I would rate this on the scale of True Blood the first/second season with less actual sex and no boobs to distract from the actors.
