Weekend Today

This series, a counterpart to The Today Show, is a variety program that mixes a news program with a talk show, in hopes of keeping the citizens of New York informed, all the while providing them a sense of entertainment. While the series carries a serious tone when reporting on world events and interviewing politicians and other people of interest, the series is capable of quickly changing that tone in order to cover lighthearted stories, or to interview celebrities and comedians.
