Alumni Fun

“Alumni Fun” was a once a week game show that aired on CBS on Sundays from 20 January 1963 to 1 May 1966. Two teams of 3 college students answered questions to win scholarship money for their university. The teams competed against each other for an entire season of episodes. The losing team won $10,000 and the winning team won $15,000. Season 1 had the winning teams coming back every Sunday until another group defeated them. The questions were grouped into 3 rounds from 7 different categories. The categories included the arts, business, history, literature, people, places and sports. The series had a different host every season which included “Clifton Fadiman”, “K. M. McCaffery” and finally “Peter Lind Hayes”.
