Ascension

Ascension is set onboard starship Ascension. In 1963, the U.S. government launched a covert space mission sending hundreds of men, women and children on a century-long voyage aboard the Ascension to populate a new world. Nearly 50 years into the journey, as they approach the point of no return, the mysterious murder of a young woman causes the ship’s population to question the true nature of their mission.

Just 3 episodes and a HUGE cliffhanger and that's all? who paid for this? the "i want to see the ass of Number 6 again" club? I bet most of ppl did not understood the last 30 second of the ending. So let me spell it for you: the whole point of this Capricorn One thing was selective breeding and gene manipulations in order to create a kid that WILL BE THE STAR ENGINE, and has the ability to move thing lightyears away. There is the potential for a 3-6 seasons long serie with this, IF the stupid network didnt give away the whole plot in 3x45 minutes! Let me guess? lack of funding? not enough boob n ass? It would have been better if they did not air it at all, because now, i m pissed! Read more

It won't win any awards, but going into knowing it's just 3 days long and you're done makes it a nice holiday diversion. Acting is pretty bad, but the story is OK. Read more

45 minutes in. Episode 1. So far, it looks like Dallas in Space to me. I sure hope the plot thickens and that there's not too much upper/lower class elements to it. Read more
