UPDATE: 'The Big Bang Theory' Contract Issues Halt Production of Season 8

'The Big Bang Theory' Original Cast Members

As we reported last week, due to unresolved negotiations with with original cast members of 'The Big Bang Theory', the production of Season 8 has been delayed.

Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, and Johnny Galecki have now signed contracts that will span over the next three seasons. The trio will each be making around $1,000,000 per episode. Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg still have not finalized their respective deals, which continues to delay production.

I don't sit through/zap the commercials to see Chuck Lorre's wrinkled ass sit in a chair and read his "cards" aloud.

I hate it when actors become too big for the show. Just cancel it and start again with different actors who appreciate a decent pay check. When their heads become too big, can them too.eundem iniappi

Oh come on, they only make about $20 Million a season and that's not nearly enough to pay for there homes in Hollywood, Martha's Vinyard, Hawaii, Tuscany and there home on the ocean, a 300 foot luxury crusier. Not to mention all the staff to keep them in livable conditions. But let's not forget the cars too.

Oh what I could do with $20 Million a year, WOO FRIGGIN HOO.

Hay I'll do it for $5 MILL ;-)

I have a feeling they will talk themselves right out of the show. Can you say cancelled due to greed?
