Jim Parsons was born James Joseph Parsons, on March 24, 1973, In Houston Texas. His first time performing was at six years old in a school play, he was a bird. He studied theater at the University of Houston. He spent two years taking a Masters Course in classical theater at the University of San Diego, graduating in 2001. In New York, after graduating, he worked on Off-Broadway productions, and commercials until he found his way to television with his guest appearance on ‘Ed’ in 2002. Having found his way to television, Parsons did guest spots until ‘Judging Amy’(2005), and his breakout role, Sheldon Cooper, on ‘The Big Bang Theory’(2007).
