Steve Carell to appear on "Pawn Stars"

Steve Carell is making a return to the small screen with a visit to the local pawn shop. By local, of course, I mean the pawn shop that is the set of the hit History reality series – “Pawn Stars”. Carell, former “The Office” regional manager Michael Scott, is currently promoting his new film “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” in which he plays a magician (alongside Jim Carrey and Steve Buscemi).

In the “Pawn Stars” episode, Carell will be looking around the pawn shop when Rick, Old Man, Corey and Chumlee notice him. Carell will be attempting to negotiate with Rick over an item he is interested in purchasing. Carell also filmed a promotional tie-in ad for with the show for his “Burt Wonderstone” film. In the ad, Rick needs some help assessing the value of a magician costume and calls in and expert (Carell) to assess its value and authenticity. Carell and his daughter are big “Pawn Star” fans

I imagine the entire episode going down with Carell acting like Michael Scott, and it is hilarious in my head. I realize it is going to go down like this, as the appearing on the pawn shop show is a plug for his movie “Burt Wonderstone”, but a girl can dream can’t she? Hopefully Carell will make a cameo in the final episode of “The Office”.
