Nick Searcy is an American actor, and was born on March 7, 1959 in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Searcy is best known for playing Ben Healy on the cult show American Gothic, and as Ruth's abusive husband Frank Bennett in Fried Green Tomatoes. Some other notable film credits include The Fugitive, Cast Away, Runaway Jury, The Assassination Of Richard Nixon, and Eagle Eye. Other TV credits include L.A.
