Brandon Jay McLaren is a Canadian actor, and was born on July 3, 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia. McLaren could most recently be seen as school teacher Bennett Ahmed on AMC's The Killing. Previously, he was the titluar character's love interest on the Canadian series Being Erica, and was a regular on the limited run horror/mystery series Harper's Island. In 2012, McLaren joins the cast of TNT alien invasion series Falling Skies. Other credits include Power Rangers SPD, Blade: The Series, Smallville, Kyle XY, The Best Years, Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil, and Human Target.
