The family travel to Duneagle Castle to pay a visit to Rose and her parents in the Highlands. There ends up being tension between their hosts though. Carson is determined to make sure that the servants back at Downton continue to work hard, but with a country fair coming up, it could prove a difficult task. Mrs Patmore might be about to be romanced.

I know some of you are thinking, "oh joy, another stuffy British period drama" but I think that you would be happily surprised by Downton Abbey. Yes, it is another British period drama with lovely costumes, but it touches on topics that are relevant to today and it has one of the most talented casts currently on television. The storylines are strong and very easily keeps your attention which is saying a lot considering some of the other shows on the air today. Read more
