Carson finds it hard to keep up with the changes. Spratt feels threatened by Denker's interference. Isobel is given some devastating news. Robert finds out how valuable it is to be independent. The staff and servants get ready to see in 1926 in with a unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration.

I know some of you are thinking, "oh joy, another stuffy British period drama" but I think that you would be happily surprised by Downton Abbey. Yes, it is another British period drama with lovely costumes, but it touches on topics that are relevant to today and it has one of the most talented casts currently on television. The storylines are strong and very easily keeps your attention which is saying a lot considering some of the other shows on the air today. Read more
