Gator WeightsRating: 0 likes, 2 dislikes
I love the show, but it's really irritating when the commentator describes the "weight" of the gators that are caught.
He will say a particular gator weighs 400 pounds, yet one man will grab it by the front and hind leg and throw it into the boat or the boat box. It's obvious, from the size of the gator, that it's nowhere close to 400 pounds, and one man could not possibly handle it like they do. At the most, it may weigh 200 pounds, if that. And, the gators they describe as "700" pounds, are closer to 400 pounds. They always roll these into the boat, with a lot less effort than a true 700 pound dead creature would require. It's just not realistic. The show is exciting enough, without inflating the weight of the gators.
