afterlife

You don't choose the spirits. They choose you.

Alison Mundy is a psychic medium troubled by her power to communicate with the dead. She has seen the spirits since she was a child, but since a near death experience they are beginning to take over her life.

During 'an evening of clairvoyance', Alison comes into contact with Dr.Robert Bridge. A pre-eminent psychologist, Robert is deeply sceptical about the psychic world and Alison's powers, and believes she could even be dangerous.

But their lives become intriguingly linked when the spirit of Robert's five year old son Josh starts appearing to Alison. Robert blames himself for the tragic death of Josh who was killed in a car crash when he was driving. Alison tells Robert that Josh is in contact with her, and is desperate to communicate with his grieving father.

This gripping series charts the turbulent and emotional relationship between Alison and Robert and the frightening events that unfold as they and others confront the supernatural and the possibility of life beyond death.
