Charisma was born in Las Vegas, Nevada but moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. After receiving a role in several pilots and short-lived television series, her initial claim to fame was a guest spot on the popular series, "Baywatch," until 1997 when she received the role of Cordelia Chase. For the next seven years she appeared as Cordelia in Buffy from 1997 to 1999, and on "Angel" from 1999 til 2003. After she left "Angel" she returned once in the 100th episode. Since leaving Cordelia behind she has guest-starred on the short-lived Alicia Silverstone series "Miss Match," and has gained a recurring role on UPN's "Veronica Mars." She is married and has a son.
