Michael Emerson

Michael Emerson is an American actor, and was born on September 7, 1954 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Emerson is best known for his portrayal of the always devious Benjamin Linus on the hit 2000's TV show Lost. This was his first big claim to fame, but Emerson has been acting in Hollywood since the 90's in supporting roles. Emerson appeared in such films as Impostor, For Love Of The Game, Unfaithful and as the wrongly accused janitor Zep Hindle in the original Saw. He also had many well received guest spots on such series as The X-Files, The Practice, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Since Lost, Emerson has struck gold again as Finch in the highly rated action/procedural Person Of Interest.
