Emmerdale airs on the ITV network in the United Kingdom. The series orginally aired in the afternoons but became an early evening show in the early 1980s. It was orginally called Emmerdale Farm but was renamed just Emmerdale in 1989. The central family on the show since the beginning has been the Sugdens.

The police confirm that the pesticide Noah had a reaction to was in the wine. Charity tells the police that she believes Megan has tried to poison both her and Noah. Ross tells Finn he's leaving the village as James has offered him some money. Rakesh tells Priya that Leyla is seeing Jai. Marlon finds it hard to have alone time with Laurel, forcing Doug to tell them the truth about what's going on.

Charity and Declan are worried about Noah who has now been admitted into the hospital. It soon becomes apparent that Noah has had an allergic reaction to some pesticide. Cain wants James to warn Ross away from Aaron, as he is still trying to cause trouble. Bob catches Ross leaving a sunflower on Donna's grave. Alicia's attempt at setting Leyla up backfires. Debbie can't believe Pete doesn't want to try again. Megan clearly feels guilty when she learns of Noah's condition and reaction.
