3x22: The Dream Team recap: The episode begins at a bar, where Alicia tells Kalinda that the IRS agreed to offer compromise on her tax case. Just then, Kalinda answers a two years old question and tells Alicia that she is not gay but she is flexible. Just then she receives a text about the Verasine case and tells Kalinda that the judgment is on the next day. In the court, Judge Wynter declares his judgment in favor of the plaintiff as the drug Verasine, used for acne, caused Mr. Good irreversible sterility and accordingly Wynter enters a judgment of 25 million dollars to be paid to Mr. Good as compensation. The Judge accepts that the amount is larger than what was asked for, but he finds the action particularly heinous. Canning wants to appeal; so its not over yet...
read more.3x21: The Penalty Box recap: The episode begins in the court room with a woman who is devastated as she has lost all her life savings because of the defendant. Just then the Judge Cuesta receives a letter and asks all the attorneys to meet him in his chambers. Cuesta tells the attorneys that he is declaring a mistrial as he is being put in the penalty box and that they would be assigned a new judge. He asks Diane to stay and asks the rest to leave. He tells her that he needs a lawyer. Twenty years ago, when he was a prosecutor, he had put a wife killer in prison and now a recent DNA test proves that he might not be guilty and hence he is being investigated by the State Attorney. The court feels that Cuesta had handle the prosecution shabbily and kept things from the defense and hence the penalty box...
read more.3x20: Pants On Fire recap: The scene opens with Alicia meeting Jackie at the hair salon. Alicia asked her as to why did buy the house which Alicia wanted to buy. Jackie tells her that she wouldn’t live for long and that she wants to do something for Peter and the children. Alicia figures out that Jackie wants to live there with them and tells Jackie that finally she is doing what she always wanted; replacing her. Jackie tells Alicia that she is not replacing her as she was the one who left. Alicia tells Jackie that she is a lawyer and that she is going to stop her. Next, in the court, Diane is representing Lindsay, Megan and Pamela. She tells the court that they are innocent. But Cary disputes it and tells the court that apart from the DNA, this time there is physical evidence as well...
read more.3x19: Blue Ribbon Panel recap: The episode begins, and when Diane is approached to be the token woman on a panel investigating the police shooting of a civilian, she passes the opportunity on to Alicia: “It’s good for your career, good for the firm.” But the panel, chaired by arrogant Mike Kresteva, seems to have predetermined the outcome. When Alicia breaks form by gently questioning the victim’s son, who denies that undercover officers identified themselves before shooting, the judges on the panel make their irritation clear. “You don’t need to impress us,” Judge Dunaway warns. “You don’t need to be clever. Everybody new to the panel thinks they’re going to reinvent the wheel. You don’t have to. It’s a wheel. It works fine.”..

And then there’s the little issue of who has been leaking about Will’s involvement in firm business to the Disciplinary Board. “Good thing they don’t like each other,” notes Will. “I’d be dead.” Diane dashes off to small claims court to testify in favor of flirtatious process server Jack Copeland; accused of manhandling a guy he served. Alicia is representing a client whose wife died on his snowmobile when the steering wheel locked and they ran into a tree. He’s suing the snowmobile maker.
