Marvel's Daredevil



Matt Murdock is a lawyer by day but fights criminals at night as the costumed Daredevil. Due to a childhood accident, Matt is blind. However, his other senses have been heightened, giving him an edge in combat. Daredevil battles against the criminals of Hell's Kitchen, including the mysterious "Kingpin" who pulls the strings from afar.

The first lines out of dude's mouth, after the scene where he has his accident, are not encouraging. Maybe the story is the story and that's it. This is just faithful to the original material. Not that it makes that much difference to me. (For the record, I thought the Ben Affleck version was awesome, even though I have zero use for Ben Affleck's boosting of the American police state.) Maybe this show will just be another vehicle for Hollywood/CIA to sell it's deadly 'Ra, ra USA. Violence will carry the day' propaganda. Let's see. Read more

Karen blames herself for Ben's death, but Doris assures her that if they had a child, Ben would have wanted one like Karen. She tells Karen that Ben never got pushed into anything he didn't want to do, and he died doing what he loved... and what he had to do. Meanwhile, Lantom approaches Matt and asks how he's doing.
