Geena Davis cast on Fox's The Exorcist pilot

Geena Davis has been cast on the Fox network's The Exorcist pilot.

The show is is inspired by William Blatty’s 1971 book of the same name.

She will portray Angela Rance, who is described as a beautiful and proud woman who is suffering with stress. She does everything possible to stay positive and keep her faith. She can't help but wonder though if the nightmares she is suffering with involving a demon are a sign of what's wrong.
