Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow

In this modern-day take on the story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is reborn in the 21st century, tracking the Headless Horseman. However, the Horseman is actually one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, whose coming foretells the end times. Ichabod, unfamiliar with his new time, teams up with Lieutenant Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) to track down the Horseman, who has been resurrected by a cult of evil witches... and they have summoned other evils as well to unleash the Apocalypse. Ichabod is guided in his quest by his wife Katrina (Katia Winter), a member of a cult of good witches. Katrina is trapped in limbo by a demon who is orchestrating everything that happens in the town of Sleepy Hollow.

Recaps
2x14: Kali Yuga recap: Abbie is singing at a karaoke bar as Ichabod, Jenny, and Nick watch. Ichabod cheers her on and Jenny mentions angels. Ichabod assures her that she and Abbie have made their peace over their dispute concerning Orion, but then wonders if Abbie has said anything about it. Abbie finishes and joins them, and Nick gets a call from a contact, Patrick McKenna, who has a line on some magical shuriken. Jenny offers to go with him, but Nick says that it's only a short hop and assures them that he'll be back soon... read more.

2x13: Pittura Infamante recap: A restorer, Grant Hollister, is working on an unfinished self-portrait of Colonial era artist James Colby. In the painting, Colby is drawing an inverted cross. When Grant turns away for a moment and looks back, he discovers that the man in the painting is bleeding. More blood pours out of the painting and Hollister tries to stem it with a cloth. However, when he reaches back for another cloth and looks back, the blood has disappeared... read more.

2x12: Paradise Lost recap: Ichabod wakes up in the forest and sees Moloch's ashes in the center of the clearing. He wakes up Abbie and Katrina, and they confirm that there are no signs of Purgatory on earth. Abbie finds Jenny while Ichabod embraces Katrina. Katrina wonders where Henry is after having sacrificed himself to kill Moloch, but there's no sign of him... read more.

2x11: The Akeda recap: Abbie and Ichabod drive to Fredericks Manor after recovering the Sword of Methuselah, as a storm brews overhead. Ichabod hopes that Katrina can hold Moloch off long enough for them to get there. A lightning bolt hits the SUV and shorts out the ignition, and they coast to a stop at a nearby station. The mechanic says that it will take an hour to repair once they get the parts. As he goes to call them a cab, another lightning bolt strikes nearby as the storm builds. Ichabod spots a motorcycle and figures that the justification is sufficient to steal it. They grab the sword and take off... read more.

2x10: Magnum Opus recap: Ichabod and Abbie are playing a game of "Heads Up?", much to Ichabod's irritation. Abbie says that they're trying to distract the conscious mind and let the subconscious make connections using Grace Dixon's diary and the weapon Lori said was contained within it. Ichabod finally gives up, just as Katrina makes contact with them via the mirror. She tells them that she failed her mission and Moloch still lives, because he's grown too strong. Katrina warns that in less than two days, the maturing Moloch will soon be able to rule the world. Ichabod tells her that they've found a weapon that can stop Moloch, but Katrina is forced to break the connection when she hears Henry coming... read more.
