Sleepy Hollow

In this modern-day take on the story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is reborn in the 21st century, tracking the Headless Horseman. However, the Horseman is actually one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, whose coming foretells the end times. Ichabod, unfamiliar with his new time, teams up with Lieutenant Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) to track down the Horseman, who has been resurrected by a cult of evil witches... and they have summoned other evils as well to unleash the Apocalypse. Ichabod is guided in his quest by his wife Katrina (Katia Winter), a member of a cult of good witches. Katrina is trapped in limbo by a demon who is orchestrating everything that happens in the town of Sleepy Hollow.

2x11: The Akeda recap: Abbie and Ichabod drive to Fredericks Manor after recovering the Sword of Methuselah, as a storm brews overhead. Ichabod hopes that Katrina can hold Moloch off long enough for them to get there. A lightning bolt hits the SUV and shorts out the ignition, and they coast to a stop at a nearby station. The mechanic says that it will take an hour to repair once they get the parts. As he goes to call them a cab, another lightning bolt strikes nearby as the storm builds. Ichabod spots a motorcycle and figures that the justification is sufficient to steal it. They grab the sword and take off... read more.

2x10: Magnum Opus recap: Ichabod and Abbie are playing a game of "Heads Up?", much to Ichabod's irritation. Abbie says that they're trying to distract the conscious mind and let the subconscious make connections using Grace Dixon's diary and the weapon Lori said was contained within it. Ichabod finally gives up, just as Katrina makes contact with them via the mirror. She tells them that she failed her mission and Moloch still lives, because he's grown too strong. Katrina warns that in less than two days, the maturing Moloch will soon be able to rule the world. Ichabod tells her that they've found a weapon that can stop Moloch, but Katrina is forced to break the connection when she hears Henry coming... read more.

2x9: Mama recap: Abbie is dreaming of being in Purgatory on the run from Moloch. She hears a hooded woman singing among some ruins and wonders if it's her mother Lori. The figure turns toward her and warns her about demons..... read more.

2x8: Heartless recap: Ichabod and Katrina are at Corbin's cabin watching a reality dating show. He assures his wife that their reunion is beautiful, and Katrina worries that it may be difficult to reestablish their bond of trust given the lies that she's told him. Ichabod says that he understands that secrecy is a hard habit to break, as he has learned, and Katrina insists that they need to be together as husband and wife to win the war. Abbie comes in and explains that she's been running a computer check on Henry since it's a week since they haven't seen him. She figures that he'll be more dangerous than ever... read more.

2x7: Deliverance recap: Ichabod wakes up next to Katrina and tells her that he has a few hours left before he reports to duty. He assures her that the war will end and they will have a story to tell their children. Suddenly Katrina sees Ichabod trying to feed her a blood spider..... read more.
