2x6: Andrew recap: The scene opens with Mike addressing the press in the VP Office. He is asked about Selina mocking Europeans and Mike says Selina is meeting with Mary King to avoid a government shutdown. He says she is becoming one of the greatest Vice Presidents in history. Leon, one of the reporters, asks about the hostages, who Selina helped free, being a spy. Mike says Selina didn’t know that and says he doesn’t know anymore. Selina meets with Mary and she asks about her boys. Mary says they are fine and asks about Catherine. Selina says they are having a party for her tonight... read more.

2x5: Helsinki recap: The episode begins with Selina’s team in a damage control mode. They are trying to douse the controversy that was stirred by the song Selina sung recently at an event in which she made fun of Europe. They are on Airforce 2 headed for a conference in Europe. Selina is told how her song is being received in various parts of Europe. At West Wing, Mike, who is now working for Kent, gets a call from Dan, asking him how things are going. Mike tells him that his new job is a nightmare. Dan asks him for a few pointers on how to deal with the press. Mike shares with him a few of his trade secrets... read more.

2x4: The Vic Allen Dinner recap: The episode begins with Dan and Mike running into Jonah while entering the workplace. Jonah with a grin flails a bunch of keys in their faces to let them know that he has been given the exec level parking. Dan and Mike know what a big deal being given this parking is and Jonah by gloating doesn’t make it any easier for them. In her car, Amy tells Selina to choose a photo of hers from the situation room that she wants published. At West Wing, while Dan is trying to suck up to Kent, Mike makes a sailing joke. She and Dan go over the details of a speech she is scheduled to give. Cliff, Sue’s fill-in, arrives for his first day of work. At Ken’s office, Ben and Amy talk with him about the hostage crisis. Amy lets Ken know that Selina wants swift action. Ken retorts saying they will have to wait till the opinion polls reveal that the American people want the hostages rescued. 2x2: Signals recap: The episode begins at the VP’s residence with Selina arguing over the phone with Andrew, her ex, while Gary is helping her get ready for an event. She is tired of arguing and as a result abruptly hangs up on him. At the White House parking garage, Dan sees Mike arrive in a new car and assumes he has cleared his debts. Mike says he hasn’t and has in fact added this car to his debts. He already has a debt of $100,000 and feels a few thousand more won’t make a difference.
