2x25: UnmAsked recap: The scene opens with the girls watching a TV report on the case against Garrett, which seems to be based on the missing page of the autopsy report. Melissa walks in acting strange and says if Garrett killed Alison there was a reason. Emily gets text from A saying if they don't bring the "something that belongs to me" one of them will die; visibly scaring everyone in the process. They assume this is a reference to the phone. A messenger delivers invitations for a costume-required "Masquerade Ball" held by the Rosewood Junior Society. A wants to play hide-and-seek, telling them to be there at midnight, if they know what’s good for them. The girls seem intimidated by going against Melissa's brains if she is in fact A; they do not want to seem to take a chance... read more.

2x24: If These Dolls Could Talk recap: The scene opens, and Aria’s father threatens Ezra, he decides not to leave his love and calls her to tell her how he feels. Meanwhile, Maya is still missing but safe, according to her emails and Hanna saved Jenna from a horrid house fire. Aria took flight with someone from Aly’s past and everyone knows Jason is Spencer’s brother.Is Spencer’s sister, Melissa the evil A? She seems to be very well associated with Deputy Garrett which is why her parent’s hired a PI. On top of that, the girls have made their way through a bag of Aly’s old belongings which were packed up the day that she went missing. Spencer wakes up and sees Aly who is searching through the bag, telling her not to get hung up on the details and look at what’s right in front of her... read more.

2x23: Eye of the Beholder recap: The scene opens with Aria sitting with the Hanna, Spencer and Emily. She tells them that Duncan came by asking about Vivian (Allison). Spencer asks what Aria told him and she says that she told him that she was friends with Vivian. Spencer says that Allison was looking for something and says that she was probably looking for A. They don’t like that this is happening. Suddenly, Spencer and the others see Jenna step out of a car with Toby beside her. She sees that Jenna got the eye surgery after all. Later, Hanna asks her mother for a new phone, but she is not budging since Hanna purposely threw her old phone in the kitchen sink to avoid her mother from seeing what she had on her phone. She says that there could be an emergency, but she still doesn’t want to hear it... read more.

2x22: Father Knows Best recap: The scene opens, and it turns out that Maya has run away leaving a note behind for her parents and the police have come to question Emily. She is still being ignored by Maya and does not want to elaborate with Hanna; she’s too tired to deal with it. Melissa is finally talking to Spencer about her relationships with both Ian and Garrett; she can’t believe that she would marry a murderer like Ian yet Garrett has been so kind to her, taking her to doctor’s appointments. Melissa tells Spencer that when Aly was killed, their father seemed relieved; prior to that, she went on to text Aly repeatedly about not flirting with Ian. Of course, she spilled her guts to Garrett who is so not trustworthy and now she regrets it. 2x21: Breaking the Code recap: The episode begins, and Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna aren't the only ones receiving texts from "A."; they have company. We find out early on in the episode that Mona is going to be on the receiving end of whatever wrath A is still capable of doling out. She receives a text at school that threatens her and that this time Hanna's mom won't be able to save her. Now, it's Mona feeling the wrath of the dreaded “A”; and she is as disturbed about this as the rest. She also gets supplied with an incriminating photo of Hanna's mom locked in the throes of passion with Detective Wilden. More than likely, the heat will turn up on Mona until she has no choice but to go public with this piece of dirt. Basically “A” sent Mona a copy of Hanna’s shoplifting police report, threatening to out Mona’s theft of a necklace if she doesn’t give the report to the paper... read more.
