Award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, restaurateur Joe Bastianich and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot return to the MASTERCHEF judging panel. After a nationwide search, only the best home cooks - including an archaeologist, a high school gym teacher, a former pro-football player and a firefighter - were flown to Los Angeles for a chance to prepare their signature dishes and present them to the judges. The judges will taste for flavor, creativity and presentation. But most importantly, in order to earn a coveted white apron and move to the next round, the home cooks must have an immense passion for food and be determined to win. Then, the auditions continue as the judges critique the good and the bad and winnow down the competition

In their final challenge in the kitchen, the two home cooks will conceptualize and prepare the most important three-course meal of their lives. 3x20: The Winning Chef is Chosen recap: The Finals of Masterchef Season 3 are underway and Josh (24) and Christine (32) are the only ones left. With $250,000 on the line and their very own cookbook, it is going to be a tough battle. Judges Graham Elliot Bowles, Joe Bastianich and Gordon Ramsay wait as Josh and Christine come in. They take a look at their journey so far. Gordon says that their friends and family are there. Josh’s family tells Josh to follow the dreams and says that he has the strength and toughness. 3x19: Top 3 Compete recap: It is down to the Final Three! Josh (24), Becky (27) and Christine (32) are going to have to compete for a quarter of a million dollars. They take a look at what the remaining home cooks have done and what they are all about. Judges Graham Elliot Bowles, Joe Bastianich and Gordon Ramsay have the cooks open their final Mystery Box. It is a cookbook with their cover. Christine says that she would dedicate her cookbook to her mom because she died when she was just 14 and Christine has been trying to recreate her dishes. 3x18: Top 4 Compete recap: With Monti out of the running for the prize at the end, they are down to Becky (27), Frank (28), Christine (32) and Josh (24). Tonight the home cooks are going to have to compete for a spot in the Semi-Finals. The cooks get in to find judges Graham Elliot Bowles, Joe Bastianich and Gordon Ramsay waiting. 3x16: Top 6 Compete, Part 3 recap: With Felix out of the competition last week, it is down to Becky (27), Frank (28), Monti (36), David (32), Christine (32) and Josh (24) to try to win it all.
